Manual focus vintage film lenses have always had a place in my routine. Because I love the unique rendering especially in the bokeh, that is provided by some of these vintage manual focus lenses lenses.

This one was shot with a Schneider Kreuznach 50mm f/1.9 lens adapted to my mirrorless Sony.Certainly, focusing is a bit of a challenge, but on the Sony, it’s much easier than DSLR’s by leveraging features like focus peaking.I also like using lenses like this again for the character, but also proving that it really isn’t about the gear.

A nice camera doesn’t make your images better quality. Knowledge and technique always win.
